Private Activities

Private Activities can only be viewed by users in the same Private Team. 

Keep in mind

  • Only members of Private Teams can create Activities that are private
  • Activities created and assigned within the Private Team will not be visible to anyone else
  • However, Private Activities shared to or from another team may become visible to everyone

Create a Private Activity

  • Any Activity created in a Private Team will be private, if it is assigned to a member of the same team and not shared
  • Private Activities are indicated by a solid lock icon
  • These activities are not visible by anyone outside the Private team

Icon example: Solid Lock, Semi Solid Lock, Non-Private

Semi-Private Activities

  • Activities that are shared/assigned to another Private Team will then be visible to both teams
  • Semi-Private Activities are indicated by a hollow lock icon

Removal of the Privacy setting

Users will see a warning when they are about to share or assign a Private Activity to another team. If the Private Activity is assigned to a user in a non-Private team, or shared to a non-Private team, then it will become public and visible to everyone. The lock icon will no longer be displayed.
