Measures

Custom build a Measure to display in multiple A3's, Goals, Tier Boards or just to exist on its own. Capturing and sharing key performance information in real time.


  • Chart Types Run/Control, Target vs Actual or Multi-line
  • Multi-line Measures 
    • Each series can be auto-populated using a calculation (Formula)
    • or set a rule to trigger Conditional Formatting (change color or flag based on a trend)

  • Measure Types: Count (C Chart), % (P Chart), Rate (U Chart), Individual (I Chart) Cases between Events (G Chart), Time between Cases (T Chart)
  • Frequency: Daily, Weekly, Monthly and No set timing
  • Trends and Shifts: highlighted automatically. A Trend is a continuous number of data points in an up or down direction. A Shift is a number of points all above or all below the Centreline (CL)
  • Freeze the Centreline by clicking on the "+ Phase" option to add title and set date range
  • Add Notes to a Measure
  • Edit a Measure Template Vertical axis labels, Series type, Formulas, Series name, Numerator and Denominator definitions. Editing a template will automatically update all existing Measures
  • Delete Measure Columns: Click on the first and last columns of a Measure to delete
  • Aggregate Measure: Measures of the same type can be tallied and viewed in an Aggregate Measure. Hover over the date / total contributors to see "who" is contributing. Turn on/off contributing measures in the Aggregate contributors list 
  • Measure Labels Toggle data labels in Measure series
  • Export Measure Data: Export Data for Measure tables. Click on the Overflow menu (three dots) to see this option.

Display the Measure

  • In your A3 Report or Custom Activity. Select + add in the section header
  • Select "Activity" and type the Measure I.D (MEA-1) into the "Search Activities" field
  • Select and Save



Displayed Measure: To remove or change settings click on the 3 vertical dots to reveal "Settings" and "Remove" options.  "Settings" 'Fit to display' setting OFF will default to the most recent data entry (instead of the first data entry)
