Schedule a Checklist
To schedule a routine inspection, simply head to the Schedules tab. This video shows you how (2:43 mins).
Can anyone schedule a Checklist?
You'll need Checklist Admin permissions to add a schedule. An Admin can give you this permission.
How do I schedule a Checklist?
- Go to Checklists -> Schedules and click 'New Schedule'
- Add details, including the assignee and how often the checklist should be completed (e.g. weekly)
- Save
Repeat Settings
A schedule can be set to repeat Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Yearly. There are two modes:
- Fixed. This is the default selection. The schedule will start at the same time. For example, if it is set to Monthly and starts on the 5th, it will always start on the first of the month.
- Variable. This is based on the completion date of the previous one. For example, a Monthly schedule starts on the 5th, but doesn't get completed until the 14th. The next one will be scheduled on the 14th of the following month. This is sometimes referred to as a Floating schedule.

Who can I assign the checklist schedule to?
A schedule is assigned to a person in a Team. By default, the Team Leader will be assigned, but you can change it to any other person on the team.
If the schedule has a repeat (e.g. daily, weekly) then you also have the option to Rotate through team. This option is listed in the Team Member drop-down. The first checklist in the schedule will be automatically assigned to the Team member that occurs first in the list (it is sorted alphabetically by first name). And so on until it returns to the first person again.
Will people be notified?
If you've assigned it for yourself, then you'll receive an email reminder at the next scheduled time (e.g. each Monday morning). If you assigned it to someone else, they'll also get an email notification when you first assign a schedule, to let them know what's coming.
