Offline Checklists
The ability to perform a checklist while offline (no wifi or internet access) is not enabled by default. Please request this capability through Support (support@teamassurance.com).
- Conducting checklists while offline should only be done on a mobile device (phone or tablet)
- Other than Checklists, most other features are unavailable while offline
- We recommend following these best practices as much as possible to ensure your offline checklist data is stored safely on your mobile device. This way, it can sync and back up when you return to an area with a stable internet connection.
1. Before going offline
Download Checklist Templates
Search for and download all the Templates you will use while offline. Do this each time before going offline.
- Go to Checklists > New Checklist button
- Search for each Checklist Template
- Click on the Checklist title and then on the OFFLINE button to download the Template

2. Going offline
Turn on airplane mode for your mobile device. This ensures the device stays offline.
Conduct Checklists
You can now start Checklists while offline. Keep the browser tab open and stay logged in during the offline period.
QR codes
Offline supports starting checklists from QR codes. To engage the camera, click NEW CHECKLISTS button, and then the QR code icon. The camera will open and you can scan the QR code.

Note: Activities (including Quick Link Activities) cannot be raised while offline. For responses that flag and require an Activity, continue on and complete the checklist. Then when you are back online, you can review the responses and raise Activities.
3. Going back online
Turn off airplane mode
If you turned on airplane mode prior to conducting inspections, you can now turn airplane mode off and let your device reconnect to the internet.
As soon as you're in an area with a stable internet connection, the mobile device will synch the Checklist data. Make sure to wait for the syncing to complete before closing the browser or logging out.
