Troubleshooting for Customers in China

If you’re a customer based in China and experiencing difficulties on our platform (such as uploading images), this may be due to regulations or restrictions imposed by local internet policies. Below, we outline the potential causes and steps you can take to resolve the issue.

Understanding the Issue

When uploading images or other files to servers located outside China, you may encounter throttling or blocking due to the country’s data security and internet regulations. The Chinese government closely monitors and controls cross-border data flows to ensure compliance with its cybersecurity laws.

How to Resolve the Problem

If you encounter persistent upload issues, your ISP (Internet Service Provider) may require specific information or authorization codes to allow uploads to servers located outside China. Here's how you can navigate this process:

1. Contact Your ISP
  • Reach out to your ISP's customer service and explain that you are experiencing difficulties uploading files to a foreign server.
  • Request details about any required codes or authorizations needed to enable cross-border data uploads.
  • Provide the following information if requested:
    • The upload destination server's URL or IP address (contact us for details).
    • The type of data being uploaded (e.g., images, documents, etc.).
    • The expected file size of the uploads.
2. Check if VPN's or Proxy Servers Are Allowed

If you have access to a VPN or proxy server that complies with local regulations, it may help bypass some of the throttling. However, be cautious and ensure you are using VPNs permitted by Chinese authorities.
